Back in the 50’s and 60’s the tax rate was the highest ever and America was prosperous and business boomed. During the Reagan years taxes were cut and we started the series of recessions we still find ourselves in, shouldn’t this tell us something? Tax cuts do not help the country, business or our people except the top 1%.
Finally, what the rustbelt forgotten voters have been begging for. Ever since that Muslim commie liberal black guy started giving health care to everyone, they have been working to get that money back to the rich. Today, America truly is great again.
Everyone seems to be forgetting, Kennedy’s tax cuts came with reducing the deductions available, thus increasing revenue. Reagan reduced taxes but did not reduce deductions enough and he raised taxes multiple times to try and cover the deficits. But he allowed too much spending and ballooned the debt.
Now anyone reducing taxes leaves out modifying deductions, and only succeeds at adding to deficits and debt.
Basic Economics 101; “If you reduce your income to below the level of your expenses, you WILL GO BANKRUPT!” That’s why the whole Republican plan of “Cutting Taxes while Increasing Expenditures” IS “VOO-DOO ECONOMICS!”

Morin could have drawn this with McConnell’s partner, Ryan

A student of history might suggest looking at past taxes and performance. Also the last few years of economic change in Kansas.

Brownbackistan, The State formerly known as Kansas, is a prime example of the TOTAL failure of Republican Voo-Doo economics!
