When we were courting, I knew my wife was really getting serious about sticking with me when she insisted that I change my male cologne. So, out went the Old Spice, in came the Brut! But I still wear my Old Spice when I’m up north at the cabin alone – it really does keep the ticks and mosquitoes away!
It’s top notes are lavender, clary sage and lemon; middle notes are carnation, patchouli, bourbon geranium, cedar and cloves; base notes are tonka bean, vanilla, oakmoss, heliotrope and musk.
With myriad of male scents on the market, I find that I still fall back on my two lifelong favorites, ( or variations of them ) -Paco Rabanne, which I’ve worn in one version or another since it first came out around 1973 and ditto for Paul Sebastian colognes, which I discovered in the lat 80’s.

Oh, thank goodness it wasn’t the dog Roscoe who rolled in something foul.

Maybe she’s trying to snuff Earl out.

Yes, but only the really cool older guys use it.

I wish more guys would wear it; I’ve always loved it!

Years ago I knew this girl who would come up to people and just sniff them. This girl was a teenager.

My late grandpa used to wear Old Spice. Just a whiff of that brings back so many memories.
