Reminds me of an old joke about a guy who tried to kill himself with an overdose of laxatives. What a terrible way to go, or at least, to keep on going.
We have an expression in the alt.obituaries newsgroup: “died doing what he loved”. It may apply in this case, but I sincerely hope that means he loved eating desserts.
