Scooter always finds Alan’s activities baffling.

You don’t have to rub it in, Alan. Anyway, scooter does not want to wear shoes unless they have velcro.

    Au contraire…..

Scooter has figured out a way to tie his own shoes….

but he wants to hone his skills…. and learn to do it right-side up.

Those opposable thumbs….. that must be the secret.

    Life is unfair, he thinks.

Or perhaps he just can’t put his thumb on the reason why you wear shoes.

There were those couple of instances where Scooter’s lack of opposable thumbs created problems. Like when he was trying to “quick draw” his cap pistol from the holster or when he tried to “speed load” the caps into it.

    .

We will not discuss the little Fourth of July incident, that kept Ballard’s Saucy Barbeque Briquette Burners,Turners & Basters, and Volunteer Fire Dept. busy for days !

Scooter was in the dog house ( literally ) for a long time, after that bit of high jinx.
