The Rall Apology Tour continues! Trump’s not so bad…. he just wants to make peace with his Russian conspirators. See, Ted was right about not voting for Hillary!

Seriously, Ted!!! Mike Flynn is some pacifist in your world?! And using drones too much an a bad effort to go after terrorists is the equivalent of starting a war based on lies?you’ve gone off the hinges.

but, no, to me, that single chat to the Russians doesn’t really seem like a big deal. What is a big deal is that he did this after ranting and encouraging to lock up Hillary for her email server. Flynn gets what he deserves. The other thing is that it wasn’t just Flynn and it wasn’t just this instance. There is mounting evidence that the concern the Trump administration is in collaboration and service of Putin and the Russian oligarchs and, among other things, corrupted our elections (as imperfect as they are, this goes a bit beyond the usual voter suppression).

Obama used drones to kill a lot of innocent people. Those people were not chosen at random. The drone strikes targeted people who were considered by our intelligence community to be a threat to our country. I’m sure a lot of innocent people were killed when we invaded Europe on D Day too. Innocent people have a bad habit of being in the way when wars happen. Using the drones was the way to get the bad guys with as little damage to civilian populations as possible. Would you be happier if he had just decided that he wouldn’t do anything to interfere with terrorist organizations because it could possibly injure one innocent person?

That’s right, Flynn thought he heard the Russian ambassador say “Peace on you.”

Seriously, Ted? I mean, SERIOUSLY? You really think Putin wants “peace?”

Ah, so you’re one of Putin’s puppets too? That explains the HRC lies. Ask the folks in Ukraine, Finland, Poland, Turkey, & Syria is they think Putin is all about peace. They are terrified.

Flynn was a private citizen when he promised Russia “better relations” for email hacking of a candidates’s server. The treason aside, Trump won, who cares how.

Flynn needs to be questioned under oath.

Unfortunately, he will be pardoned before he can implicate Trump.

The Logan Act (1 Stat. 613, 18 U.S.C. § 953, enacted January 30, 1799) is a United States federal law that details the fine and/or imprisonment of unauthorized citizens who negotiate with foreign governments having a dispute with the United States. It was intended to prevent the undermining of the government’s position.2 The Act was passed following George Logan’s unauthorized negotiations with France in 1798, and was signed into law by President John Adams on January 30, 1799. The Act was last amended in 1994, and violation of the Logan Act is a felony.

To date, only one person has ever been indicted for violating the Act’s provisions.2 However, no person has ever been prosecuted for alleged violations of the Act.2

Ted’s third panel misses a major issue: Just what is meant by “better relations”?

    .

If Flynn talked about the sanctions, does “better relations” mean that the US would look the other way while Russia militarily annexes the Ukraine… and maybe the Baltic States after that? My friends from those countries are definitely worried about that possibility. Even much larger Poland is concerned
