NEW ISRAELI GAS MASK WITH FILTER

    $34.95 EACH

I won’t say where, though. Might get flagged as SPAM.

They are meant to be collectibles, not for use.

I like the Doctor Who episode where the gas masks were haunting London.

There was a brief time when surplus gas masks were in high demand for use as paraphernalia for ingesting cannabis which had been vaporized by means of a flame.

They all wore better than the original self-watered handkerchief mask.

Girls in gas-masks is actually a very specific fetish one can find on the internet.

It’s a big hit on YourFaceTube, apparently.

The Who cut the mustard gas.

Sulfur mustard, commonly known as mustard gas, is a cytotoxic and vesicant chemical warfare agent with the ability to form large blisters on exposed skin and in the lungs.

But we really have to take into account bearing and swagger on the runway, as well as poise and confidence.

For most of these models, the gas mask is merely a defensive tool.

But for the Germans, it was a talisman of invincibility, where they had used gas as a means to suppress resistance to their advance. If we’re judging haute conduite, then the Germans certainly sweep the field.

The book The Three Stigmata Of Palmer Eldritch actually scared PK Dick himself. In the early 60s, Dick had a hallucination of a supreme evil God with a metal face (a vision inspired at least partly by childhood memories of his father’s stories about World War One and his gas mask). The Three Stigmata was Dick’s attempt to exorcise that vision. As he wrote in 1979:

“Some reviewers found it a profound novel. I only find it frightening. I was unable to proofread the galleys because the novel frightened me so.”

In Philip K. Dick’s novel The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch, published in 1965, Eldritch possesses stainless steel teeth; slotted, artificial eyes; and a black, mechanical arm — his “stigmata.” Star Wars‘ Darth Vader wears a metal breath mask with large eyes and a grille of artificial “teeth” and he sports an artificial arm.
