Perhaps he should’ve sat with his back facing the fridge?

The innate cussedness of inanimate objects. My production computers were completely reliable until I left the room during a render with an immovable deadline.

My husband can never find anything that drops. Says the floor & rug are black holes. Since things tend to bounce or roll, I can usually locate the item. Unless of course it rolled under the fridge.

I have found that if I drop a pill, even if I see which direction it bounces, I’ll never find it.

My Dad has Parkensons, and I have a condition that causes me to drop things. When he was feeling better my Dad would say, “Just throw it on the floor, it’s going to end up there anyway!”

That is SO TRUE !!! I dropped a small lock washer, then a small flat washer in my shop last night and they just vanished into that other world we can’t see. I just try to keep lots of extra spare parts and such to replace the inevitable.
