In times of trouble Honeymoon knew

Pop pop Tracy would know what to do

He was a rock and a calming force

When she felt bashed and violently tossed

Although one thing she didn’t quite understand

Why was his wedding ring on Pop pops right hand?

… or maybe Honeymoon’s been trying to post comments on GoComics the past few days.

Greetings to ✯✯ Vista Bill Raley ✯✯ and all Tracy fans.

I’ve signed up for the Yahoo Group and even tried experimenting with image posting. You can post images as attachments. For me, this will take some getting used to, along with the way Yahoo displays the comments. I liked the old GoComics format better because the full messages were laid out in a column. With Yahoo you get a bunch of subject headings and have to click on those to see the messages.

Looks like Honeymoon already heard what Rep. Bellowthon bill’s all about.

What’s good with Yahoogroups is that you can also get messages by email. On the other hand, Googlegroups works like usenet newsgroups.

ESCAPE FROM THE PLANT OF THE MAGPIES!

Tracy couldn’t sleep. Tossing and turning he took a small amount of comfort feeling Tess resting along side of him.

“How peaceful she looks, and how screwed up everything has become”!He lamented to himself as he reluctantly resigned himself to having to accept that nothing will ever be the same in town again.

“The idiots have destroyed the joy of this place, everything has turned cold and gray”!

Quietly he prayed for a miracle.

“Please God, show me a sign if you want me to try to change things. Lord I can’t do this by myself. Send me an ally to team up with me”.

Just then the phone rang.

“Who in blazes is calling at this time?”

He muttered as he picked up the phone.

“Who is it”

“Tracy, it’s me, Matthew!”

Our apologies, but to fight off abuse from the management, we now limit our comments to include text from non-pro accounts only.

While we are appreciative of GoComics for having provided us with a forum for discussion, recent changes to said forum have greatly reduced the ease of conversation. As a result, we cannot in good conscience continue to offer financial support for Pro Accounts in return for a downgrade in service.

Well, that’s a first draft.

Anyone care to take a pass at improving it?

After some tweaking, I’d recommend that we copy-and-paste the finished draft in whichever additional GoComics forums that we visit, with the hopes that others would do likewise.

Remember, The Finished Draft needs to contain fewer than 500 words.

Tracy’s wrist wizard was on his left wrist yesterday.

I’ve been wondering about whether this bill is causing Honeymoon to have bully problems again. Perhaps not coincidentally, October is “National Bullying Awareness Month”, and over at The Cardinal strip on GoComics (which had a crossover of sorts with the Tracy strip during the last bullying story) they are advertising a book called “Bullying Is No Laughing Matter” with contributions by a number of cartoonists.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m really enjoying this story, more than the recent Abner tale.

I guess it’s just soooo easy to hate a weasely political underling and his self-righteous boss. (Besides, I have no idea what direction this story will go in, whereas we were told in advance it was to be Abner’s last bow.)

I wish that Gocomics would allow you to get notifications when someone replied to your comment.

It’s nice that her plastic surgeon remembered to cut some air holes around her nostrils. That is one tight face.

I’m going to repost my Death List today just to test out the 2,000 character limit.

Haven’t actually read the linked blog yet, but it strikes me a little as if we’d originally had a dozen sausages, then had ten taken away, then had two given back, with the expectation that we’d cheer ending up with eight fewer sausages than we’d started with.

… and we sort of have.

I read about the planned changes on another site yesterday. The info has since been removed, but it also mentioned that there would be a significant increase in the PRO membership fee. The increased character limit is good, but too much else has been lost and I have no plans to go PRO ever again.

Curiously, it seems that no one has yet commented that Tracy’s ring appears on his right hand sometime between panel 2 and panel 3. In panel 2 his right hand shows, ringless.

I would guess that Honeymoon is concerned by the reports she has heard about the Congressthing’s H.B. 6497, and is seeking Pop Pop’s advice. Of course, Pop Pop is pretty steamed, too…..

Regarding the third panel image having been mirrored (flipped), I believe it was flipped but not when it was in Joe Staton’s hands. What I suspect is that Shelley flipped it during the inking/lettering process, likely at the suggestion of Mike and Joe.

Just a comment on the new Go Comics spamming policy: In my estimation it amounts to killing a mosquito with a sledge hammer. I’ve not seen any major spamming on Go Comics and when it does occur, it is quickly flagged by the faithful. Is Go Comics destined to become just another Arca Max?
