Snowden and Putin,Sittin’ in a tree ….In the past, I’ve supported the actions of other government and industry whistleblowers, but Snowden seems an opportunistic sneak. While he’s in Russia, he should try to expose some information about the Russian government: Poof! Where are the Snowdens of yesteryear.

While assuaging his conscious by claiming the moral high ground Snowden somehow manages to ignore the HARM he caused.

The GOP’s Stealth War Against VotersWill an anti-voter-fraud program designed by one of Trump’s advisers deny tens of thousands their right to vote in November?

    http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/features/the-gops-stealth-war-against-voters-w435890

My testimony was that the data we received from the Crosscheck Program showed that in the 2012 general election, there were 35,750 people who voted in North Carolina whose first and last names and dates of birth matched persons who voted in the same election in another state.”] Yet despite hiring an ex-FBI agent to lead the hunt, the state has charged exactly zero double voters from the Crosscheck list. Nevertheless, tens of thousands face the loss of their ability to vote – all for the sake of preventing a crime that rarely happens. So far, Crosscheck has tagged an astonishing 7.2 million suspects, yet we found no more than four perpetrators who have been charged with double voting or deliberate double registration.

This is how republicons commit voter fraud.

They said the same thing about Daniel Ellsberg when he released the pentagon Papers and he’s now considered a hero. When you’re government is lying AND breaking the law AND lying about it to Congress the person who exposes that fact at his own expense is definitely a hero (the qualifier is the term “noble intent” in the definition of hero).

Watch what you draw Steve, Big Brother is watching you. Seriously, Snowden is a national hero and should be honored as such. Our Government classifies 98% of things that have no business being classified except to prevent embarrassment for some fool in Government. And much of the other 2% is to prevent the Government’s attacks on our liberty becoming known. Aside from some military technology almost nothing should be kept secret. Are you listening Hillary?

I like the whistle blowers and the truth seekers. They become traitors when they expose things we no longer want to seek the truth on or want the whistles blown on.

He ran to KGB Putin with USA data, which is now being selectively revealed when it can help comrade Trump.

emptc12When you are in route and suddenly have your passport cancelled, you are stuck there. The Russians figured they could get propaganda value out f his being there (and have in a minor sort of way), or else he would be in prison (the junta’s plan) for passport irregularities..Prof ChemSkaldKing went to jail on misdemeanor “charge” of exercising his rights while black. He wasn’t there long. Snowden is facing treason charges with a significant minority of the powerful demanding death. Not quite the same..Uncle Joe He didn’t “choose to take refuge” in Russia, it was offered and it beat being in the gulag.

Mixed feelings on Snowden. Ellsberg released data that was long extinct as far as any harm to troops or ongoing operations. Snowden released a mass of data that could indeed have been “sensitive” at least.

Having BEEN a “whistleblower” on stupid/corrupt stuff being done, and getting the situation fixed as a result, I’m concerned that the Obama administration may indeed have been overzealous in going after them. But let’s not forget previous administrations, like the Bushs’ have also selectively gone after those who’ve stepped in their profit potential, as with KBR contracts fer instance.

I’m more concerned about CIA/NSA/FBI allowing Trump access to any highly classified, and potentially dangerous information. This is the guy now calling for eliminating Hillary’s security in her security detail, while constantly promoting violence against her, at home, and abroad. Snowden is a prince by comparison.

“Treason is giving aid and comfort to an enemy. We have NO declared war, thus no enemy. Unless you believe the enemy he told was the American people who have been excluded from knowing what our government is hiding from all of us.

ChevJames007 said, “The REAL unemployment rate is around 20 percent—unless you count people working…”.And what kind of monster would call people who are working “employed”?.We should call everyone “unemployed” who isn’t working his or her dream job, in my case Supreme Ruler Of The Universe — or fireman, I can’t choose.

The letters discarded are out of order — the “A” of traitor is on the first line and not an article.
