Get a taller ladder.
I have already fallen from trees. You can’t spoil MY fun!
He’s safe from the bicycle in the tree. He is more vulnerable on the step ladder.
Now Mom’s going to say “No one’s holding down that ladder!”
Since the branch they are sitting on has leaves, it is not dead. Calvin and Hobbes are perfectly safe there.
This is what a ladder (and Christmas lights) did to me:
Gotta find a tree Mom can’t see from the window!
The wood is completely dead in a ladder.
You know Tarzan didn’t have these problems.
Just sayin.
Obviously, Mom has never seen “Miracles from Heaven.”
Mom specified “that” tree! Just find a different tree, Calvin…
The ladder is made from dead branches.
She’s just looking after you, Calvin.
