That’s not thinking or sleeping. It’s the eight month of election coverage.

I’ve heard of a thinking cap but never a thinking bib.

I was thinking drooling was the reason Jeffrey chose a thinking bib instead of a cap.

He knows just how …um… trance-like he can get sometimes. Why, just yesterday he was thinking super-hard about how to solve the world financial crisis….and he got so far into a trance, Melanie said he snored.

Now that’s some deep thinking!BTW… I myself was not in a trance when I didn’t show up yesterday.

I do most of my posting at night, right after the “turn,” when the new strips appear…But Thursday night, just as I was about to post on the Friday strips, my internet and phone service went out for hours.

And as I don’t get a 4g signal at home, but use my cellphone on wifi…I lost that too.

A quiet night on the old homestead….sigh….

Beviek – that kisses dog made me laugh out loud. Funny! Rose – good luck. Hope you sell a lot before it gets too hot.

Jeffrey can call it “trance-like” if he wants. He can call it “wood-working” if he wants. I call it napping.

Bev, you HAVE to watch out for her!

Don’t let her age or size fool you! It’s a good thing she can’t do magic like …um…. you-know-who.

    As for Thursday night…sleep?What’s that?

PerkyCat says I need to get away from gadgets.Problem is, I didn’t know it was my provider’s fault…I spent the time trying to find a broken wire or connection, to no avail.

ChessPirate…. you’re not in CA by any chance?

My cell went out because T Mobile hasn’t expanded 4g service enough in my area…it’s coming, meanwhile, subscribers can talk and text over WiFi, which most companies don’t offer.

I pay half what I paid on Verizon, for far more minutes and data, and they’re much nicer to customers.

But when DSL is out, so is my WiFi.

Annette…. my “bundle” is from a local company…. just land line and phone.Best deal anywhere, for anybody who can get service from Sonic.net.WAY cheaper and better than AT&T.

They’d gladly give me a dial-up number for back-up… but modern laptops don’t have modems that support them.

I’d never go back to a 1990’s or early 2000’s computer, and use dial-up again, just to miss the rare few hours a year of DSL outages!

    Landline and phone???

Of course I meant internet and landline phone.

DSL as fast as your local lines will bear, and real phone service, not VOIP.

This is the proper way to think.
