You should have told him it WAS an iguana brain, just to see what he’d have done with it.

Darn transatlantic migrant veggies! We’re gonna build a wall and make Brussels pay for it.

Only problem with Brussels sprouts is that they generally are over cooked to the point of looking grey. Yuk. Actually if they are shredded raw and tossed in a salad they really are good tasting and I don’t like the taste of any of the cabbage family.

well, if will not eat brussel sprouts, what else will they not eat? how about haggis? or, chitlins? or, poi? or, jellied tomato refresher? or, gefilte fish? or, ham and banana hollandaise? or, bird’s nest soup?

I don’t mind eating Brussles sprouts, but I’ve always wondered why they smell like swim trunks.

That seems like a reasonable response.

@trekman58 I was going to say that but decided to see if anyone else was going to. I love it when the free range leaves come out slightly crispy like chips! (Don’t forget to salt and pepper them!)

Was told, first, soak them in a vat of salted water; it makes any bugs crawl out (discard water and bugs). In Mexico, we soak them, too, with drops of a vegetable wash in water, for 15 minutes (or probably holy water will yoo hoo do, too, to get out the vampire microbes that make your stomach do the rhumba).
