Two police officers pull up to two people carrying so many guns you can't see their faces. Officer: One of them is a domestic terrorist on a rampage, and the other is an open-carry citizen who believes he's going to save us. Thoughts?
When Giffords was shot, one guy did have a CCP and a pistol, that he didn’t take out because he didn’t want to be confused for the shooter, and get himself killed. He’s also one of the ones who stopped the shooter, without using his gun.
It’s happened several times. The “good guy with a gun” doesn’t get his gun out because he’s afraid he’ll be confused for the “bad guy with a gun.” In any case, he’d likely only annoy the heavily prepared “bad guy,” and the “bad guy” and the police both would shoot him. So much for that theory.
An amusing cartoon, but I’m sure in the real world, they’ll be able to see a glimpse of a hand or something that will tell them what color the person is, and this will tell them whether or not to shoot them.
And the founding fathers wanted both of those men to have all of those guns. Lord knows they must have small hands to be walking around with that arsenal. As long as we don’t call them assault rifles they won’t kill anyone, right?
One of my all-time Don Martin cartoons was about a plane flight. At the exact same moment, every passenger stood up and yelled, “This is a highjack!” There was a long pause, as all the people looked at all the other people. Then they all put their guns away and sheepishly sat back down. Too bad that’s too much to hope for…….
My question exactly. Maybe the good guys should wear white hats? But what if they shoot bystanders when defending those bystanders? Does that make them a black hat? Ah, ethical dilemmas.

Can they just line up and shoot each other and leave the rest of us in peace?

Night-Gaunt49So is my c.1790 flintlock, but it doubtful I could kill more than one, assuming (erroneously) that I would try.

The gun nuts say that anyone who commits a mass shooting is mentally disturbed. I’d say that anyone who buys that many guns is mentally disturbed.
