No we didn’t have that problem because headphones are mounted on a headband that keeps the speaker wire from getting tangled. Earbuds don’t have that and technically, they are not headphones
Hey, ktrabbit: my so-called troll comments the other day about Janis’s physical appearance were in response to somebody else drooling over how hot she was. Regardless of how she is drawn, however, she is one of the least appealing characters in the comic strips: stupid, shallow, ignorant, prudish and quite possibly unfaithful. Apparently you can’t criticize a strip these days without having your comment removed and being branded a troll. I’ve been reading this strip since its inception, by the way, and IMHO it has gone downhill rapidly in recent years.
I remember when the telephone company man came to the house and replace our parents (only) phone (made of heavy Bakelite) from a cloth covered straight cord to the curled cords. My parents rejoiced! No more tangled cords! That lasted about one day! And cords continued to get tangled until…TA DA…the CORDLESS phone! And now we have the cell phone….with ear bud cords that get tangled. Full circle. BWAHAHAHA
