Well its is probably pretty clear that Leslie may be running a scheme for the “youth program” and in fact Bernice questions it, which she tends to do. She should become a prosecutor after law school or an FBI agent. Luann of course is trusting. Gunther is kind, which is part of Tiffany’s apparent attraction for him (I am gradually coming around to her at least being attracted to him, I don’t know about him to her yet) and Ox is trusting as well. I love the characters, Ox and I believe Knute being Laurel and Hardy, Gunther and Tiffany with the magician and sexy assistant act, and Luann and Bernice with the head, little brain act. I think they all will be funny, but there are so many scenario’s that can still happen. This is nicely drawn single panel, with ms. sexy right in the center.

Now, Now, Folks. Let’s give poor Les a Chance! He may have just forgotten to TELL His Pushy Uncle and Those NOSY DeGroot Slave Drivers, that He’s Taken it upon Himself, out of the Goodness of His heart, to ‘Help’ the Poor Youths in Pitts, because He’s DOESN’T want THEM, to End of Like Him. Just because He’s made One, or Two or Three, or Several Dozen ‘mistakes’ in His life, it doesn’t Give Us the Right to Pre-Judge Him. If You called Law Enforcement In, They’d only say that while “Mr. Knox Showed Carelessness and Poor Judgement, in His Collection Methods, We can Attach No Criminal Wrong-Doing to His Actions and No Charges Will be Filed. Thank You for WASTING Our Time!”

NOW, Let Us go about Our Day with a SMILE Knowing That Our Country’s Future Is Secure with Such Fine Young Men It!

He’s also reasonable with the type of vehicle he drives. His Fjord Plunderbird is not even gas guzzling. It’s very stingy with its MPG. In fact, it even comes with a detachable syphon. It also has spare cinder blocks and wheel jack, in case he gets a flat, so that other cars can have a way to still prop themselves up. Wow, what a conscientious guy!

5Interesting lineup today. I like the grey-haired guitarist, but I suspect he is just filler for today and we will not see him further. The “Laurel & Hardy” duo seems to be Ox and Knute…. which is interesting… I did not know that either of them knew each other particularly well…. so it is interesting that they paired up. I hope that we do get to see their “talent”.As I mentioned in response to Caldonia, it appears that Gunther has shaved off his mustache stubble to glue on a fake, “Snidely Whiplash” style curly magician’s mustache. That was a wise move to avoid the pain of the adhesive pulling on the stubble, but IMO he should have grown out his own mustache instead… or if shaving the mustache stubble, he should have shaved his whole face. As Kym commented back to me yesterday, I do see that now Bernice pulled her costume back from her eyes again to see. That is logical, and a good thing. Yesterday, I was unsure if she would because I was thinking it might be hard to keep readjusting it, but that is apparently not much of a problem. In my way of thinking (perhaps I am a bit of a penny-pincher), Luann… a poor college student who lives at home… $10 as a donation to a “youth program” seems like a lot of money to me. In her situation, my donation would have been smaller… but again, I have always been very careful about spending. Everyone (rightfully) is predicting Les is up to no good with his “youth program” donation can. I too suspect that Les will end up pocketing the loot he gets…. but, wouldn’t it be interesting if Greg shocked us and there really WAS a youth program that Les was collecting for…. and he DOES give the collected money to that program (without being forced to by Uncle Al after he catches Les)?
