Calvin, you should have Hobbes watch a few hours of The Three Stooges; then he will appreciate your genius.

Do Tigers even have tails? At the zoo, I never noticed. They just looked incredibly dangerous.

Actually everybody likes physical humor. Except when you are the victim.

“Teaching a child not to step on a caterpillar is as valuable to the child as it is to the caterpillar.”- Bradley Miller

I agree with you. Many people don’t like it, animals even less, stuffed tigers included. Try to step on a cat’s tail and you’ll walk away limping. Imagine a tiger. Run Calvin!

Tigers do have tails, and they can weigh up to 600lbs. I liked the three stooges as a kid, but find it rather distasteful now. Reminds of a scene in a WW2 movie where someone dropped a grenade into a tank and closed the lid. I was about 7-8 yr old watching that movie, day time television, must have been home sick that day. Everything stayed really violent after the war, for at least twenty years, until the Beatles.

Funny! I just realized what he really did. He better NOT ever kill a huge, fuzzy, “ugly” (I think they’re cute), caterpillar! If he does, he’ll be killing a big, beautiful, butterfly that will make the world all the more beautiful!

“eye for eye, tooth for tooth” in certainly justified in this case. Hobbes, you clearly have the advantage … your prey has two legs, you have four.
