I kept losing socks in the wash, so I decided to hand-wash them while I put the rest of the load in the dryer. When the cycle finished, I opened the dryer and it was EMPTY! In their place, I found a note: “STOP TRIFLING WITH THE LAWS OF NATURE AND BRING THE MACHINE MORE SOCKS!”

Check out Fisher & Paykel top loading dryers. They load through trap door on the top of the drum.
