    Dear Ann Landers,

All my life I’ve been a giver, but now I realize there must be more to life than that…

A somewhat enlarged version, of this cropped image, can be found at Mr. Melcher’s blog entry (yesterday). A full, click-to-enlarge image can be found, starting here, along with descriptions (click the in the Info column), of it and 1 of its 2 click-to-enlarge detail images (compares to an earlier fresco by the artist described here).Saint Jerome in His Study (link shows painting’s Wikipedia page) isn’t, as far as I can tell, currently shown online by its current-location.The current-location’s website disappeared in January; but, a description of this, and its companion fresco, by another artist, can be found in an archived page (Google translated). As the click-to-enlarge image found here shows, the old walls have been replaced (perhaps less obvious in another fresco by the artist there). The artist’s Catholic Encyclopedia bio, Wikipedia page (Google translated Italian Wikipedia page has more) and collection (more under Subcategories at each level).Third, of the 4 works, by this artist, that have, so far, appeared in Mr. Melcher’s blog, to also appear here (3 total).
