Of course, the CEO could comfortably pay that $50 every hour for several years on one year’s salary, so I’m not sure he’ll get the message.

You go, Rat! Make him pay to fly in the pressurized part of the cabin. Charge him extra for a seat with cushions on it,

At first I couldn’t tell what Rat was doing; I thought he was jumping. Then I realized he was leaning against the airport seats to get the CEO squished.

I’m sure CEO’s have private jets. I would love to pack them in like sardines.

I haven’t flown on an airplane since 2002, and I was 14 at the time. Have the seats really gotten that smaller?

Some one stuff him in the overhead baggage. After some of the things I have seen passengers try to carry on, he should fit.

They should federally mandate seat size for airplanes. I bet passing that bill would keep a congressman in for at least another 3 terms…

Man, I’ve had my mind set on doing this on several people for different reasons! Better for them to feel what you feel to see if they understand.

Companies these days don’t really listen to protesters much and they get way too involved in politics than they should. As a business owner it is best to stay politically neutral business wise and listen to your customers, something the airline industry isn’t doing. They ignore us and charge us for everything, its going to be base fee plus excess body weight soon enough, plus restroom usage fee, plus seat cushion fee, plus you moved during flight to use the restroom fee.

Don’t feel conflicted, Goat. You know you want to do it, and you should: just push on your side! Squash the CEO!

BTW, I seem to recall reading recently that congress is considering federal guidelines on seat size….

Next time take the train, if you can. Amtrak has two across seating even in coach. You can really recline in the seat without hitting the passenger behind you. And you can get real food Need I say more?

Folks, without denying the “atta-boys” Pastis is getting here, you DO know “we” all are to blame for the airlines becoming cattle cars, right? Every time we use a web site which guarantees the lowest price, then airlines quickly learn that price alone is what matters. Now that such web sites are the standard, the public/airline relationship is locked in. Forever. They optimize for price alone; we grouse endlessly into the flight …
