Exactly. I posted this some while back, and I’m sticking with it!I swear that tRump has been playing his Chumps like a fiddle. But there’s no way that guy would actually want the bother and commitment that comes with being POTUS. What’s more, he’d be expected to take up temporary residence in the White House. That’d be slumming in a FEMA trailer by The Donald’s standards. Worse still, he’d be expected to put all of his holdings and investments in a blind trust. Think that will ever happen?Instead, he’s a billionaire out to play, and until lately, perhaps, he’s been having a ball at it. Ultimately, though, he’s aiming to elect his old pal Hillary. He can’t possibly want to accomplish that by being a yuuugge loser himself however, so here’s what I bet will happen. At just the right moment, perhaps just after he’s been nominated at the Republican convention with all of the inevitable letting of blood, tRump’s “acceptance” speech will simply be “Ha! Ha! I’m a winner and you’re all a sorry bunch of losers! You’ve been punked! I’m outta here!” Then he’d jump in his helicopter and watch the convention and the Republican Party go up in flames in the rear view mirror. Better still, it would be a long time indeed before his idiot supporters trusted another demagogue. And even though he’d have to fortify his properties, The Donald would surely go down in history, his reputation, such as it is, spectacularly restored. That’s my dream, anyway. I just hope he doesn’t blow it too soon. Oh, what fun! Republicans delenda est!!

I still say that’s how he pays for the wall if he gets elected.

Since he’s starting to lose momentum, he’s now complaining about the process. For once I agree with Ted Cruz: Understand the process before you get involved!

I have never thought Trump was actually serious about becoming President. He just wanted to show what fools Republicans are.~Exactly my thoughts as well, same with Bernie. Trouble is.. any reasonable choices have given up so you are left with Hillary or Cruz.. a tough choice..

Republicans have done a good job showing they are fools before Trump.

Didn’t the Secret Service declare that the Republican convention had to be a bankrupt free zone?

The Republicans have declared moral bankruptcy, letting their primaries become about who’s is bigger. Talking about punishing women and kicking people out of the country. Discussing fist fights and comparing each other’s wives.

There just can’t possibly be any system finer than our two party system, where, the political parties, dedicated to their primary role as public servants, accepting the responsibility of office, have tirelessly rolled up their sleeves, burned the midnight oil, and carefully scrutinized their potential candidates to find those who have comprehensive knowledge not only of science, technology, and statistical analysis, but also, religions, economics, education, negotiation, international customs and are EXCEPTIONALLY good listeners willing to learn from others (even from other governments) so that they can deliver (not just promise) 100% of the American voters the best possible compromises. I’m sure the political parties do all this and more in our behalf … don’t they?

C’mon! Wasn’t this obvious all along?! People figured they’d use Trump, and he’s using THEM. It’s Donald Trump as Guy Grand in “The Magic Christian,” as simple as that. How audacious that Trump would play with the country this way, but we let him get away with it. Now, will we learn a lesson from this?

People don’t seem to learn lessons from con men, because they keep falling for the new con man on the block.

It is a game of singles and doubles and not home runs especially if you are a liberal.

I guess you are right, any democrat is better than any republican, especially Cruz whose real plan is to make our nation into a theocracy. But if I do have to vote for Clinton, only because not voting Can’t be an option this year. But I will be dragging my feet all the way. This is the Only time that we have the opportunity to vote for a man of such integrity. He is a one time deal, to get a New Deal Democrat back in office, and we need a person like him Desperately!Who is for Civil Rights, will let us keep our guns for the right reason, and has worked tirelessly for the working man, the workers who work everyday so hard for so little in wages. If all the minorities were aware of how hard he has fought For Them, he would be past a landslideAnd I Really hate it that the Establishment Democrats Are rigging the election for Clinton.I’ve read too many compelling accounts of what is happening really during the caucuses. But, like you say Far Better to have a Democrat than a Republican win.
