97% of all the scientists in the world don’t debate it; they are sure it’s happening and human-caused. (Or maybe they are all involved in the Chinese conspiracy that Trump claims is being perpetrated. I wish Republicans would go back to “worthwhile” things like “How many angels can dance on the head of a pin?” and “Should we repeal the Law of Gravity?”

    97% huh? How many climatologists?

Does it really matter what a nuclear physicist says about climate change? Or a vulcanologist? Or a Chemist?

Maybe your 97% of scientists are the scientists who don’t know anything about climate change so we shouldn’t be listening to them anyway.

Come on now folks, quit fighting! Any excuse to sacrifice to the volcano gods is a good excuse!

I have no problem with climate change,it always has, human activity has little to do with it.Yes if the Chamber Pot is not changed it will cause a big change,at least in that building.

cooling/warming/change – As long as the “answer” continues to be money, it will not be believable, and nothing will change.

Published, peer-reviewed climatologists (rather than amateur climatologists) certainly would qualify as “scientists” and these scientists are even more united in agreeing that climate change is real and that we are the cause. Flagmichael is apparently in the somewhat lonely 3%. Coastal flooding, ziki virus and other bad things will keep getting worse until people wake up and work to address the problem. Political posturing will likely continue until everyone’s chamber pot backs up.

As John Maynard Keynes pointed out, “in the long run, we’ll all be dead”.-And debating over something we can not control, which is a changing climate, is pointless.-If one can’t adapt to their changing circumstances, then they should die out, just as species have done time and again.-And besides, we could stand to have fewer people on the planet, anyway, especially here in the Bay Area.

But we can change the things that we can control, until we understand things better, and can control more factors. If the smoke alarm goes off, I’m going to do something, not debate about it.

When I was in the scientific community (NRAO’s VLA program). You had to be in the flow(now called politically correct) to due well in in recondition and funding.

    Nothing has changed.
