Convert them to Judaism and inform them about “long pork”.Not to mention the time they’re recovering from the circumcisions should give you the ability to escape.

Depending on how you serve it puts “missionary position” in a whole new perspective.

The natives seem kind of chubby….Boiling too much pasta?…..But hey, isn’t it time for some troll to roll up and accuse Wiley of plagiarism because he saw a joke about missionaries being cooked by natives in a big stew pot in a 1972 Penthouse magazine? Me? I just wonder which one is named Stu…………

Converting them to vegetarianism will be a task of Biblical proportions.

I say he drops the bible in the stew for the benefit of the natives…Hey it makes for good fiber…..Moral fiber, if you will………..No! No! No More noodles, Chief! Carrots, onions and broccoli, chief…Got any garlic? ..Too much Mrs. Dash dang it! Um, BTW,…you guys do know they are pooping and peeing in your stew, right?…. Try some lemon juice, it will help with the after taste…

Unlikely either strategy would work before the water starts boiling. Then it would be too late.

I see you are not the only one to wonder about the “iron pot” @strictures did as well. But what makes you so certain it is iron? It could just as well be a clay pot.. And probably would be. But what do I know.As to the stewing, it would depend on what you consider “easiest”. Making/acquiring the pot would be quite a bit of effort compared to building the fire (required by both methods), shoving a stick through and through, and Rev. Chet’s nuts roasting on an open fire….

True. Which makes firebrand1’s comment look pretty stupid. Religion has always been just another way for the powerful to rationalize taking from the weak; see, for example, Matthew 25.28.
