    THE POINT was pretty popular in its day- and Dustin Hoffman was the original father/narrator. They had a limited contract with him, so Henry Cordern replaced him when it repeated a year or two later. Then, of course, Ringo Starr was used for the video release.

    Although the costumes were a remaining part of the tribute to David Bowie, perhaps one day we should do a real tip of the hat to Nilsson. I’ve been a fan since Schmilsson days.
