I hope that Juan Valdez’s faithful burro did not get harmed in the shipwreck.

I think they may have grounds for a lawsuit here, or at least a couple of carafes….

FUNG1 The damage is not immense. They are running out of places to find oil in the open sea, and all that is left to clean up is the shores. The effect of the BP well is maybe half of what the original Valdez did. Yes, it’s not good, but you are jumping to unfounded assumptions. They are already opening up fishing and, by the next year or two, everything will be back to normal.

Todays comic is hysterical. Great job Scott.

I like mine with cream, and lots of sugar.

And FUNG, here is a quote that is my new favorite:

Juan sum coffee? I’m sure they will blame Bush/Cheney because they both have a can of Colombian coffee in their kitchens.

I’m sure all the toxic dispersant used to keep the oil from reaching the surface is going to be no problem at all in the future.

Our newspaper has started carrying this comic so I read it there but wondered what the comments would be on this one.

I read the gulf spill was worse than Valdez but also that they are opening up a couple of places for fishing again in the gulf…probably too soon to tell all of impact long-term. I know the coastline where the Valdez spilled still has oil down under the top layer of rock and sand ets. The Gulf marshes where they had oil are devoid of life a fisherperson said Sunday…”silent, no activity.”

Our area of Missouri is under yet another severe weather alert…I just heard the alarm go off.
