Let’s welcome in the New Year now.But it’s not quite 8PM!Hey, it’s midnight somewhere.

Yeah…… tried that. Slept through it.

I was up for the New Years last night,,,I haven’t been missing much all those previous years. Ah well, at least I’m still above the dirt.

i awoke to the fireworks of all the crazy young people around here. happy new year.

Happy 2016 everyone. May it be good & safe.My husband is a musician & played at a nursing home last night. We welcomed in the New Year at 8:00pm. I did manage to stay up til Midnight, then crashed. He’s a night person anyway, so he stayed up much later as usual.

I made it to about 9 P.M.

Didn’t have to set the alarm. Our neighbors started shooting off skyrockets at midnight. Happy New Year.

Ah ha! I actually stayed up to see the ball drop. I haven’t done that since 2000. (The football game was a complete yawn) Happy 2016 (if you can survive 10 months of the political Klown Kar…there has to be a better way!)

I did stay up last night ’till after midnight. It took me that long to drink the entire bottle of champaign…

Of course, there was this Jack Daniels guy who needed befriending…

Heck, I was at my workbench in the basement and didn’t hear any racket. I came up for some hot tea about 20 minutes later and found out the time. Eh, calendars are changed so no big deal.

I watch the fire works from Australia as it is shown on the news. That happens at 8am my time on December 31. No sweat in welcoming in the new year.
