Boring is stuck in the past, technologically, with those antiquated overhead telephone lines. But, hey, the Museum of Shoelaces might be interesting….

Uh most of non-urban America has pole mounted phone, or in the case of this cartoon power line. Bit I agree with your comment about the Museum of Shoelaces…

None of the shoelaces are brightly colored, and their aglets are gently sanded for maximum dullness.

I kind of would ’t mind it there now and then.

My daughter sent me a postcard this year with a photo of Boring Middle School and wrote on the back; “if only all schools were this honest.”

The Shoelace Museum is an offshoot of the larger Museum of Shoe Stores.

It appears they have plenty of power!

I’ve been to Boring. It’s even less interesting than that.

Oregon also has a Drain and Curtin.

North Carolina has a teapot museum. Even had a federal grant to help! Don’t you love it????
