Too bad about Franklin Graham. The apple really does fall far from the tree. He’s forgotten what Christianity is about, or he missed the part where Jesus said “Love thy neighbor as thyself.”Personally, I think Putin is a very, very closeted homosexual. He’s trying WAY to hard to prove he’s a real man!

This is just more anti-Russian rot. No doubt the lab that did the blood tests was strong-armed by the US to make Russia look bad. After all, the current administration is doing everything it can to restart the Cold War.

Russia got the Olympics by bribery, the World Cup by bribery, the steroids by old-fashioned paying for them…….

Interesting how the Jim Crow brigade became “anti-communist” under McCarthy, and is now favoring ex-KGB Col. Putin for the cause of Jim Crow again. At long last, sir, have you no consistency?

Mr. Toles, the message on president Putin’s chest would be more accurately attributed to President Obama. After all, the US is above all laws and thrives on exceptionalism and hubris.

I still don’t understand did no one see Rocky IV? I know it was a movie, but did no one think it had any basis in reality?

It’s always good to see how much the Olympics improve international relations.

And someone ‘got’ the Olympics through bribery? I’m shocked. No, really, I mean it. Shocked, I tell you.

Night-Gaunt49Granted. However, compulsory state communism is far different from voluntary communism as represented in an Israeli kibbutz, Tanzanian ujima, or North American Hutterite commune. The difference is in what about those who will take what the need, but don’t give what they can. In the voluntary communes, it is expulsion – see how you like it in a world in which that is the norm. But in a nationwide commune, the legal code must be employed, and since few other nations want that sort, it is the penal code, and soon applies to any dissident, and that is tyranny. In a volunteer system as one form in a multiplicity of free forms, it works fine for those with a disposition for that sort of thing; for a whole nation with no alternative, it must by its very nature be a dictatorship.

Ooh… It’s worse than I thought. You can’t even feel the dissonance. That’s a bad sign.
