Mary Worth I would add “pontificating” or “spouting platitudes”. She sure likes the sound of her own voice.Teh, I would add that the Auntie Mame movie starring Rosalind Russell was a straight comedy/drama while the musical was called just “Mame”. That one starred Angela Lansbury on Broadway (for which she received a Tony) and Lucille Ball in the movie. (Most people think that Ball was awful as Mame and Lansbury should have played the role in the film. Lucy got it because of her “power” in Hollywood. Kinda like Lucy Ricardo only with clout.)

Phantom A couple of years back, “Phantom Classics” at CK printed an “origin” story of the current phantom. He was sent to the States for school and to be “civilized” as a young boy (maybe 7 or 8). That’s where he met Diana. He didn’t return to the Deep Forest until he was summoned back when the Cobra killed his father. He was in college at the time. So when, exactly did Kit’s father ask him about going to the Himalayas?Personally, I think that young Kit will decide for himself that going to the Himalayas is a great idea. He’s been poring over those journals for a long time. Sorry, Diana.

SUNDAY PHANTOM: It looks like quite a few of us were right and could see this coming.

REX MORGAN: June finally had the baby. It took long enough. Now he will probably grow up faster than normal.

MARY WORTH: How many months are we going to be sight seeing?

REX: I’m reminded that i do not know if the creator Dallis is still alive and contributing to the strip. MARY: though the Sunday strip is mostly a recap, i like it for the artwork and the opening quote

Rex Morgan – Dallis is not living, but I like that they pay tribute to him this way, just one week after the demise of Apartment 3G.Judge Parker – Sam and Abbey are becoming meddlers.Mary Worth – Could be an interesting tour of NYC highlights if they keep it short, like one a day.Phantom – A mirage, or does Phantom do a Mandrake thing?Crankshaft – A baseball biography, maybe one written for young adults. I like to read YA books.
