CRANKSHAFT: Crazy! I always enjoy this strip as Tom Batiuk has captureds Crankshaft’s personality so well..a cranky-crazy old guy who means well but goes around creating havoc. 40 years ago I lived in a building that had an apartment labelled *3G." I met a couple that were in the process of moving into it and they referred to the comic strip of the same name as if it were a part of Americana.
APT 3-G LAST STRIP 11/22/15: As I recall, Brenda Starr also had a doggie in the last panel when that strip ended on 1/2/11. A3G I’m disappointed that they didn’t make an effort to have everyone together for the last day. Awedding would be the perfect excuse.

A3-G Perhaps an actual wedding was just too much for this team. Bolle is giving up because of his age and Shulock should have been replaced years ago.
