Aren’t Service and Campaign Medals essentially participation awards? Not to diminish the service itself, but aren’t they given to all “who participated in designated wars, campaigns, or expeditions, or who have fulfilled specific service requirements in a creditable manner”?
Not realistic: Real Generation Whiners would be texting/tweeting/snapchating/facebooking each other instead of vocally talking. I mean talking is so Generation Y.
