If a dinosaur fell in there, I think they’d find a way to get out before you could say Abracadabra.

Not good. They caught themselves.

If you want to trap a dinosaur, don’t dig a whole; create a tar pit. (And don’t fall in it.)

If you can dig a pit, you can dig a ramp to get out..But make sure it’s too narrow for the dino.

So this is how all those dino bones get buried!

For some reason, this strip reminds me of the following quote from “McClintock”:“I haven’t lost my temper in 40 years; but, Pilgrim, you caused a lot of trouble this morning; might have got somebody killed; and somebody oughta belt you in the mouth. But I won’t. I won’t. The ĦΞ╚╚ I won’t!”

Measure twice… dig once!

So that’s how the Rift Valley got its start.

Time to invent steps.
