Sounds like MMQB – where FanDuel is one of the sponsors.

The “illegal” becomes “legal” when it becomes successful.

It’s gambling. Shame on the NFL, MLB, Robert Kraft, & Jerry Jones for investing in these things.

I noticed when TBS showed the Chicago bar crowd scenes during the Cubs-Pirates playoff game they were at a bar carrying the name of one of the fantasy sports league companies. Must be thousands of bars in the Chicago area. Funny how they just happened to pick that one.

Monday I was having lunch with friends and suggested starting a betting pool on when the first scandal would break (like point shaving, etc.). But it turns out the scandals have already begun (insiders on one site using betting information to bet on a different site). No surprise there.

No surprise if both sites were revealed to ultimately have the same parent company in the usual corporate jigsaw puzzle, for that matter.

Consider the NFL network. They have many programs on fantasy league play. In fact on Sunday’s they give out fantasy league points on individuals thruout the day while giving out stats and best plays of all the games. There is a Daly 1 hour program on drafting fantasy league players and who are the best bets. Then again, all newspapers give out the line and over/unders on every NFL game, and then have the gall to claim that it has nothing to do with sports gambling. I use the line to pick the games I bet on, since 1998 I have won over $500,000 betting with the sports book in Reno
