Democrats are incredibly organized. We just do it outside of the party’s influence. They are Hillary backers, we have Bernie supporters working by the 1000’s all over the country. It isn’t easy to run a campaign when we only have one actual Bernie employee in the state, (Illinois) . Without corporate backing, we have to spend money on the states that are now in play, but we were trained by Obama’s people, and we are five months ahead of where Obama was at this point in 2008.
The great flaw of the senate is the misconstruction of the filibuster. The filibuster was supposed to prevent a majority from reducing freedom. In 2015 it is mostly a device to keep constraints in statute.
