Unless he’s coloring the strip, the name Mastroianni really ought to be removed from the credit-line on this strip.

With a bit of colour it certainly doesn’t look nearly 60 years old.

Hart eventually dropped the gimmick of B.C. carrying a club with his initials carved in it.

I was 26 years away in 1958

It was a Wednesday…i was a fetus.

I was in 8th grade. A terrible year! I also would rather have Johnny Hart’s name there. And I don’t like the color added. Leave them as they were.

Colored or not, I think they are fun to see again.

Also, I see Johnny Hart has the only billing as of today @ 2PM CDT…

I just turned six the month before.

My parents were still children in 1958.

I graduated from high school in June,1958, from Covina H. S. in Southern California. Anyone else on here know where that is? I was a B.C. fan from the start. I still like it, but it isn’t the same as when Johnny drew it. I have a book he & his wife planned on having published, but Johnny died (at his drawing board) before it was ready, so Bobby his wife completed it. I love the book! it’s called I DID IT HIS WAY, and is a collection of Johnny’s religious comic strips. It has quite a few strips with Wiley, my favorite. His poems are great! I’m so glad gocomics decided to re-run B.C. from the beginning!

I wasn’t born for another two years plus a few months!
