I can think of only three cat YouTubes: Simon’s Cat, the flying Pop Tart rainbow cat , and I think the piano keyboard cat.

I prefer dogs. Cats are cute, but otherwise dogs are more people-friendly.Is he hitting on Luann?

Most likely, whatever animal Zebo loves will be a less common choice for a pet. A house cat or golden retriever would probably be too normal. I have a feeling Greg Evans will choose something that surprises the readers.Of course, I could be wrong, and Zebo comes in with a lovable mutt.

Oh Who cares? This is not a popularity contest. I vote with LuAnn! I also said Zebo has a pet rat!

I’m still goin’ with Iguana….hmm…or Gecko… maybe a Chameleon, since it is usually associated with “different colors”….

Hi, y’all. I’ve been a Luann fan ever since it first came out and have been reading comments here since before the Toad guy was kicked off. Since I am an Art teacher, I’ve gotten a big laugh out of Zebo. Mr. Jock has drawn an X through the drawing because he feels he’s made a mistake and wants folks to disregard it. I see students do that all of the time. I’ve enjoyed your discussion for years and hope that I’ll be able to contribute something positive to it.

Cats are better than dogs, but the really ideal pet is a python..Unlike cats and dogs, they never make noise, and when they do shed, it’s all in one big piece that you can just pick up and throw in the trash..Plus, being cold-blooded, they’re always up for a cuddle so they can draw off some of your body heat.

What ever happen to Luann’s cat.

This assignment seems uncharacteristic of Mr. Zebu. It seems more nearly appropriate as an assignment for her class in… just what else is Luann taking this year? Will we ever see her in a different classroom with a different instructor? (If she is indeed studying to become a day care worker, this assignment would be a perfect tie-in for that class.)

We have debated pot, vaping vs smoking, possible comic character sex,love, college RAs, recovery, sarcasm, and marriage on 9/11 in this blog, but one thing I am not going to touch is dog lover vs cat lovers!!! Nope, my name is Bennett, I ain’t in it!! Have fun Luannites!

8The best part about today’s effort is that “Emo’s” cats have a YouTube channel. That is a funny, surprising thing to learn about Emo. And he seems more talkative at the moment than usual as well. I like that. For me, the Zebo/Emo/Jacque (Jock) arcs are the best ones featuring Luann herself lately. I have very much enjoyed them. The PSA aspect (adopt-a-pet), while for a good cause, does unfortunately add a bit of “After School Special” air to the arc. And, while I think it would be more humorous to focus on the fringe aspects of art like has been done in early arcs, this one is nice as well.

How about we put Col. Zebo up for adoption instead?

On a side note, why are these three kids having to take another one of Zebo’s goofy classes? I don’t remember college having so many art class requirements.

Maybe Quill is drifting away from Luann (possibly into the arms of Prudence, possibly just into the pursuit of his own dreams of stardom), and so Luann will start paying more attention to Mr. Jock, who has already expressed a desire to date her. If the idea of bringing Quill back from Australia was to show that Luann is capable of a long-term commitment, then that mission has already been accomplished. (The Quill / Luann pairing lasted from her junior year in HS through her freshman year of community college.) It’s time for her finally to move on from her high school romance and take advantage of her college environment by meeting some new people there (including romantic interests).

Thus driving him into the tender embrace of the lovely Pru? “My girl friend doesn’t understand me! She wants me to spend my every waking hour on her concerns, not mine!” “There, there, Quill… She really doesn’t deserve you!”

Fame = votes. If the viewing public has a say in the matter, his cats will win paws down.

I would not have guessed that Emo or Jock have any pets. Caring about animals makes them a lot more likable.

I have a rhinoceros – good conversation starter, but I’m having trouble finding a ‘Beware of Rhinoceros’ sign.

Cats are too independent and shred the upholstery. Dogs bark and slober too much, so I don’t like either. I have two conures for company. They are more intelligent than cats and dogs combined, and their mess is completely confined to their cages.

CATS. All the way. I swear I’m the only person on Earth who doesn’t like dogs, but I find them annoying and intimidating in about equal measure. ‘Emo guy’ said it!

I love to see a cat yawn. They turn their heads inside out.

Back to what others were saying, Luann used to have some great arcs with real stakes, like the Bernice stashes drugs arc. Nowadays the drug args (brownies, paper bag) are just teases where it’s a given there will be no drugs. Either Greg has gone soft (it happens, see Charles Schultz or Jim Davis) or Karen keeps her discombobulated stories fun for ages 2-6.. . . . . Greg may eventually take command again. We can only hope..For Bernice and her Derek and his drugs, see “Luann Againn” — that arc has just started there. .I posted some late yesterday.

I like both. And I hate it when people get uptight about either.

Don’t worry, Luann. Not too many left handed artists, but the list contains some pretty impressive names.

Luann may not know it yet, but I think “Mr. Right” has just appeared

Apparently some people here missed the episode where Mr. Jock asked Luann out on a date, so here it is:--Note that Cyclops-guy knows that Luann has (soon to be “had”???) a boyfriend, so it would seem likely that he’s been checking her out, too!

Everytime they’re together, Luann and the Jock seem a little closer.

Yeah that’s the guy. I used frequent Josh’s CC Blog but got tired of the ENDLESS Unfunny Mary Worth jokes.

CC was very entertaining at first, but the mission of “All Snark All the Time” wore thin on me. Now it’s just a constant stream of one-upmanship in the comment pool. But he keeps interest in comic strips going in his own way, I’ll credit him with that.

And that trait couldn’t possibly rub off on Luann, right?

What is Luann’s major when she only has one class?

Cats, dogs, lots of birds, lizards, raccoons, hermit crabs; have or have had them all, precious babies <3 Right now I have a dog who is 17, a cat, a gecko, and a parrot. That’s like one of my major jobs, cleaning up after them and cooking their food :)

All pets rule. I have a cat and a rat. I’ve had bunnies, a dog, birds, fish, and snakes. They are all wonderful family members not matter how big or small.

But always with Mr. Zebu as art teacher, probably.
