Why do the Spammers keep posting when they are Flagged everyday? Does Flagging eve do any good at all?

Groan! At least there are no faces. “No wait, don’t tell me”“.If I don’t come back later, I can blissfully spend my weekend. But if I come back, certain posters (who I will not name, although I love them) will point out faces I missed

Somehow BIRDBRAIN makes me want to return to BIG TOP for breakfast.

Yes, chinless faces, Grog. Think smiley face for the Mrs. and bucktooth face for the doctor.

    To all my readers,

I was just informed a similar cartoon appeared on Reynolds Unwrapped a while back.

First, my deepest apologies for this “overlap” of ideas to one of my all-time favorite cartoonists, Dan Reynolds. I hope everyone knows I do not copy, replicate or use other cartoonists’ ideas EVER.

Second, if you haven’t already, please take the time to visit Reynolds Unwrapped - it’s one of my favorites.

Dan - I am truly sorry. Thanks for being such a gentleman about this. Seems we both enjoy cured ham… Of course, as hams, I doubt you or I will ever get cured. :)

Thom I appreciate the notice. As I said, this one of those gags that was probably going to be arrived at by another cartoonist at some point. This particular one (I’d post mine, but I don’t know how to do it) made the rounds as a greeting card with Nobleworks) I had done it close to a decade ago.

Of course, we cartoonists know it does happen from time to time, running into something that ‘s seen the light of day before.

Keep up the great work Thom. I enjoy seeing your work. I can tell Thom puts a lot of time into what he does. There are not many of us cartoonists who don’t use dropped computer color these days. I, myself, do it on purpose because I think it give my work a different look. I don’t know about Thom, but I’m guessing this might be his reason, too.

    Keep ‘em coming!

    Best Dan

Such an awful pun! Oh, my achin’ bacon!

I’m going to be COMPETELY irrelevant and post something I contributed to the Columns section of STARTREK.COM: a Mother’s Day poem called…

    KLINGON HOME COOKING

I loved her targ, her plates of gagh, Her warnog stirred and shaken; But nothing in this life compares To Mother’s Terran bacon.

Those strips of flesh, so greasy fat, When smoked and steeped in brine, Were absolutely just the thing To go with ale or wine.

And oh! the chops, the ribs, the feet, The heads so neatly split; The rinds deep-fried and dipped in spice, The cubes cooked on a spit!

How is it so, on this wet world Where pig is all the rage, That no one cooks it properly? ‘Twould boggle any sage.

So here I sit inside a hut, One eye upon the cam, And try to lose my memories Within a can of SPAM.

    – from Kohf son of Klee, with love
