I jump in the air and let Earth rotate under me. It appears I’m flying at a little over 1,000 mph at the equator, or around 500 mph in the U.S., but I can only travel west. It takes me about five hours to jump from Virginia Beach to San Francisco. Then I say, “I just flew in from Virginia Beach, and boy are my legs tired!”
