Should he have used a wagon wheel instead?

    The order was ambiguous…

Wiley: Rumor has it that Danae has absconded with J&J’s deli sandwich. You wouldn’t know anything about this, would you?

I once had an employee with that same mind set. She was a blonde, of course!

Look up the word “Stupid” in the dictionary and you may find a picture of her there.

Going around calling employees stupid, it’s no wonder she never did what you’ve asked.

Like the guy that shows up with two planks when you asked him to “pick up a couple of broads”.

Sort of like the guy who brought a blind duck to a hunt when he was told it was his turn to bring the duck blind.

I too an disappointed with the choice of Zits over Non Sequitur. I find myself seriously confuse now as to what the voters consider good. Piraro wins deservedly for the out-there and thought-provoking Bizarro, while the bland and PC Zits (IMO) wins over the highly amusing, original, out-there and thought-provoking Non Sequitur. I don’t mean to dis Wiley’s fellow cartoonists, but this is my first exposure to the Reubens, and I have to admit to being rather negatively impressed. Same sort of feeling I usually have about the Oscars (this year’s awards excepted) which in recent history anyway seem to be less about the relative merits of the individual nominees and more about outside considerations.

Zits is funny and cute, but Non-Sequitor is so much deeper and the artwork is phenomenal in comparison. I’m sorry you didn’t win Wiley – you’re still tops in my book.
