My daughter referred to her 2 mixed breeds as “well blended.”

I had a betapotamos. She was the better part of most of the dogs in the apartment complex.

He or she is a hybrid. That’s been popular the last couple of years.

Pacopuddy: It was called hybrid vigor in the old days before breeders found they could get more money for deformed genetics and a fancy breed name.

And, I’m Swedish, English, Scottish, German, French, Mohawk, and God only knows what else. I believe America’s diversity strengthens it. All of the traits of the human race have been imported to our country, and each individual can find what he is best at and do it, so we have the best of everyone. Wouldn’t that work for dogs too?

Mutts make the best pets. Too many psychological and physical problems that come with inbreeding when you get a purebred dog.

Canardly – you can hardly tell what breed. That’s what I say mine is. That and golden retriever and kangaroo.

When you give a speech about a mixed breed, painting a word picture of how the dog looks could very well be necessary, foryou can’t find matching pictures of the dog online. If you don’t “paint a word picture” then all you can do is share a photograph of the dog.

@Saucy, I used to have a car that was a Rolls-Canardly. It Rolls down one hill and canardly make it up the next.
