bev, I saw your greeting last night. It’s good to be here. I would drop by more often, but I am so far behind! I do a quick “run through” some days on the comments, though. I hope Number Three saw my song request on yesterday’s page.

If there was a horse named ‘Dead Cert’ I wouldn’t advise Andy to back that one either!

A friend had two dogs, a Saint Bernard (Bruno) and another, a smaller but still fairly large animal. Both dogs were very friendly and gentle creatures. One day the dogs for reasons known only to them, got into a vicious fight. Our friend (a lady) rushed in to separate them. That was a big mistake. Bruno almost bit her arm off. She was in a cast for weeks. Dowsing them with cold water might have been a better option for stopping the fight.

Here’s a hot tip – Don’t bet money on the horse races!!
