Thankless work, pretty much (altho the payoff can be quite good, sometimes). The crazy comes from trying to please all of the people all of the time while knowing that one has to lie all of the time to (maybe) do it. Truth-telling is rude in general and death in politics.
Carson wants the government to be run just like a business.
I think he should cite a few examples.
Maybe one of the biggest banks who needed bailouts.
Or maybe an oil company like Exxon or BP who never rely on government tax breaks/subsidies and are such magnificent stewards of the environment.
Or maybe some of the defense contractors who produce weapons systems at grossly inflated costs and prices, including systems that are not needed or even wanted by the military.
Maybe WalMart or MacDonalds’.
Golly, so many possibilities. I wonder if he’ll ever choose any.
About as likely as the Obama administration taking over through military manoevers according to some on the right.
Not saying it couldn’t happen as in Germany, but conditions would have to be very much worse for even the possibility. And this is a far larger and more diverse country with a very different heritage.
Our country at present is a huge Shakespearian play, and Carson is one the comedy-relief players. As in previous recent campaigns, the media will cast him in the Bert Williams role. Progress of a sort?

I just read on politifact that Ben Carson was one of the top 50 liars. Don’t know what he did just yet, but truth will out.

Shame he didn’t stay in medicine. Even if he couldn’t do surgery any longer there must have been someplace he could use his time and knowledge.
