Whoa…if it’s a 60’s one, might be worth thousands…if it isn’t cracked…or broken….and if it only hadwell… strings and stuff.I hope it IS worth something…even as is…and that she’s not about to get ripped off….
Mine is an April, 1957 Tele and I ain’t gonna tell you where I live !! Only upkeep over the centuries has been contact cleaner, 2 frets replaced and some blood washed off when a 1967 Ohio drunk decided he could take on the whole band after hours and a Tele makes an excellent bayonet tool.
Since I know nothing about such things:.Fromhttp://www.premierguitar.com/articles/17148-fender-telecaster-and-1953-fender-deluxe.“The Telecaster’s 1953 list price was $189.50. The current value for one in excellent, all-original condition is $25,000.”

If it’s strung backwards for a left hander it’s Jimi’s.

I had to look it up, but apparently the Telecaster is THE electric guitar. Fingers crossed for Agnes!

Fender always was the guitar of choice back in my youth. Gibson was a close second.
