I’ve always HATED Peeps!!!

Try roasting them over a campfire instead of marshmallows. Caramelized sugar yumminess! Plus the satisfaction of poking a stick in a Peep.

*Take two Peeps (preferably different colors to tell them apart) and two toothpicks.*Inset one toothpick into each Peep on the right side.*Place both Peeps on a paper towel in the microwave, facing each other with the toothpicks not touching the other Peep.*Place your bets as to which Peep will deflate first.*Start the microwave for one minute and watch the Peeps grow larger (obviously best done with a microwave with a clear window).*The first Peep impaled and deflated, loses.*Eat the loser and the winner.

Repeat until out of Peeps or bored.

Or do they?

Heart is right, though. Peeps are much better when slightly stale and chewy.

If you put them on top of matzo in the microwave they will make the matzo catch fire. No interfaith s’mores….

I like to set my peeps floating in a mug of hot cocoa.

Y’all are sick! Poor little Peeps. Just eat ’em and… oops…

Peeps are great! I loved getting them at Easter when I was a kid! That and those malt-flavored robin’s eggs!

my sister found an ad for milk in a box type company doing “lo-fat” peeps flavored milk for the season. marshmallow, chocolate, and egg nog! i can’t explain that one either

My Mom thought she was the only one crazy enough to like her marshmallow confections (peeps and everything else marshmallow) stale. Too bad she isn’t still around to see this!
