I guess, they’re so busy watching birds, that they don’t have time to watch the news.

yes, Watt was one of Reagan’s determination to privatize everything belonging to the public for private profit. the end of the social contract. no more “public” ownership. Socialism for the Rich and capitalism for the Poor.

Back around that time, I had a dream that my wife and I were working for James Watt, for some reason. I woke up feeling unclean. The man was a horrid little tick, determined to bleed the nation’s assets because of his belief in an imaginary character that the administration he belonged to wanted to make an official object of worship.

We dodged a bullet then, and unfortunately, we seem to have to keep dodging the same bullet over and over.

The gentle journey jars to stop,The drifting dream is done. The long-gone goblins loom ahead. The deadly, who we thought were dead,Stand waiting, every one. —Walt Kelly

We’re not even through with Nixon. His flacks and flunkies are still advising GOP candidates on dirty tricks and on which lies will always work.

Modern birding is not your father’s birding, it is now “epic” birding. Google: operation migration whooping cranes. Read the archived field journal’s for the epic stories.

Cute way he drew Dick to resemble John Adams by always making sure the background would frame him so he appeared to have a pony tail.

Every time I saw this story arc old Dick would jump out at me as with the longer hair he’s the very image of the man.

Well, if you use your imagination in a pretty lively manner, you can see a black shape just inside the frame, right side near the bottom. Maybe that’s the “pony tail.” Let Caligula have his fun.
