A republican holds a letter up to two people. It reads: "Open letter to U.S.A. Any deal made by voters in Presidential elections can be blocked by Congress at any time, at any cost. -The GOP. Man: I'm beginning to see the pattern.
Unless you count things like Nancy Pelosi negotiating with Assad during the Bush presidency or Ted Kennedy asking the Soviets to help defeat Reagan or …..
If the nearly two thirds of eligible voters who didn’t vote had actually voted last time around, the Senate would have remained in Democratic control. It wouldn’t be the least bit surprising for the Democrats to retake the Senate in 2016. Some of those senators who think they’ll be there a long time just might have unpleasant surprises waiting for them.
Republican Senators that have sent the letter Tom Cotton, Marco Rubio, senior senator from Rand Paul, senior senator fromTed Cruz, senior senator from TexasDavid Perdue, the junior senator for Georgia, Joni Ernst, the junior senator from Iowa, James Inhofe, senior senator from Oklahoma, John Cornyn, senior senator from Texas, Mitch McConnell, senior senator from Kentucky and the Majority Leader of the Senate since January, Roger Wicker, junior member of the senate representing Mississippi, John Hoeven, senior senator from North Dakota, Richard Shelby, senior senator from Alabama, Thom Tillis, junior senator from North Carolina, Richard Burr, the senior senator from North Carolina, Steve Daines, junior senator from Montana, Jeff Sessions, junior senator from Alabama, John Boozman, senior senator for Arkansas, Cory Gardner, the junior senator of Colorado, Shelley Moore Capito, junior senator from West Virginia, Ron Johnson, senior senator for Wisconsin, Mark Kirk, junior senator from Illinois, James Lankford, junior senator for Oklahoma, Chuck Grassley, the senior senator from Iowa, Roy Blunt, junior senator from Missouri, John Thune, senior senator from South Dakota, Mike Enzi, senior senator from Wyoming, Pat Toomey, junior senator for Pennsylvania, Bill Cassidy, the junior senator from Louisiana, John Barrasso, junior senator from Wyoming, Jim Risch, the junior senator from Ohio, Mike Crapo, senior senator from Idaho, Deb Fischer, senior senator from Nebraska, Ben Sasse, the junior senator from Nebraska, Orrin Hatch, the senior senator for Utah and the President pro tempore of the United States Senate, Dean Heller, the junior senator of Nevada, Pat Roberts, the senior senator from Kansas, John McCain, the senior senator from Arizona and the 2008 Republican candidate for president, Rob Portman, the junior senator from Ohio, Lindsey Graham, the senior senator from South Carolina, and Mike Rounds, the junior senator from South Dakota were the other signatories.
Pretty much says it all. Hopefully the American middle/working class public is catching on and will soon change this before it becomes the written law of the land…and change is no more.

The will of the people elected Obama by more votes than the GOP congress, and he’s two or three times as popular.
You must mean the will of the dead-enders who hate everything he does, even when it’s something they were begging for for a solid year or more.

Did he send them a cake and a bible and ask them not to release any hostages until he was elected? cough*REAGAN*cough
I ask because you were just SO upset when Reagan did it, weren’t you? Because you’re not a two-dimensional hypocrite at all.

The trouble with all this blocking and competition is we can’t get anything useful done as our country descends into mediocrity.

“Now we see why Elmer Fudd hunted you all these years.”Not because the Waskily Wabbit was so much smarter. Elmer was just a befuddled hunter.

Interesting that the conservatives on this site are defending the indefensible. I guess that is just normal for them.
