Well deserved, Mr. Neathery! Its the best comic.

What’s the fuss about? It was inevitable that the best comic on the web would be nominated and, in the fullness of time, will win all awards. Congratulations, Mr. Neathery.

So this “special magic” that will be shown by a fairly large reptilian pummeling a small anthro in what is probably a rigged fight?The only thing more deluded than this is Piotr’s assertion that the Topsiders are doomed to fail. Given what I have seen of their technology, their resources and the way they laid waste to Albion West (even before the drones came) I would be extremely cautious about making that statement, particularly when one’s primary sidearm is a sword.

MAN are they ever racist…

I don’t see Phil. He would be wearing gloves and shorts, probably pulled up to his armpits.Who is walking away? Is it probably someone going to bring in the combatants?

It is 2 cliffhangers, but this has such a multifaceted story line.

1. Sarah hasn’t been heard from recently.2.Kirbee is facing who or what.3.Holly and Chic seem to have made it safe as far as being gassed, but then what.4.Wally must find out that Holly is alive.5.What about Jim.5 possible things that could to be seen next Monday, and I think we are all going to be in Lizard town a lot longer.

Plus, some old topics- what happened to Linda? What is happening in Endtwn?What happened to the rat gaurds.

Also many grats for the awards Aaron. You’re an inspiration. I sincerely mean that.

Two thumbs up, one for each award, and a nod of the noggin for the other nomination. It’s good to see others recognizing what a lot of us here have been witnessing for years now: A great artist AND storyteller who breaks the mold by eschewing the 1-2 week arcs by adding more artistic detail and perspective than most artists do.

The only other strip on this site that I’ve bookmarked as much for its artwork as anything is “Little Nemo,” although they’re clearly different kinds of strips aimed at different audiences a century apart. McCay couldn’t write like this, though.

Because my IPad would rather not let me delete my last comment but instead leave my rather embarrassing name mix up for everyone to see imma just go ahead and clarify I meant to say SARAH not Linda. Whoops.

I don’t take back the grats though Aaron, you deserve that.

Reading the Wiki article makes it clear Phil is no Max Schmeling, who wanted nothing to do with the Nazis, but was simply a proud, professional German. He and Joe Louis later became fast friends.
