Remember when that photo came out from Abu Ghraib, and don’t blame the greatest baseball team owner, or oill company exective of all time, or his buddy the oil tool company magnate.
Complete garbage. The $40,000,000 that Democrat Senators spent to produce this crap might as well have went to propaganda commercials on Al Jazeera. Or how many poor people could 40 million feed?Btw…. Were some Terrorists uncomforted?Ya buddy! They actually were SO lucky they were in American custody. They were terrorists trying to kill even more than the 3,000 Americans on 9/11.If you think that’s torture, try talking to a POW that was in the hands of the Vietnamese, Japanese or Germans and ask them what torture is. It wasn’t lack of sleep and loud music they went through. It was electric shock to genitals, acid poured on them and eyes gouged out, to name a few.Oh and try to talk to an American that’s been captured by the Islamic State (ISIS). That’s right you can’t, their heads were sawed off alive with a knife.
Interesting that one American who went through torture as a POW in Vietnam has vociferously opposed our use of torture. That would be John McCain. He says that to use torture makes us no different from those we purport to oppose. And considering that, after World War II, the United States prosecuted as war criminals those Japanese prison camp guards who practiced water-boarding on American soldiers, I’d say it it the height of hypocrisy to claim it’s okay when we do it. To claim that the “bad guys do worse” is a child’s argument. If it is wrong, it is wrong, no matter what others are doing.
Trying to get answers from known terrorist that have plans for future killings of Americans takes more than “Can you please tell us Mr Terrorist”Nice that you liberals on here think that we’ve just been “lucky” not to have had a major attack here since 9/11.How are those daisy’s and unicorns doing in your Fantasyland?
It IS important to not confuse “conservative” with “psychotic” in America today. LIkewise, confusing “stupid” with “liberal” is also a mistake, and there are those as well! It’s that radical fringe on their surreys that gives them away.
The First Amendment notwithstanding, if such treatment (with or without the occasional death) were incorporated as part of some religion’s worship service, it would not be exempt from prosecution. But under the heading of “intelligence” or “national security” — neither of which concept appears anywhere in the Constitution — it’s considered justifiable and exempt from what would otherwise be the law?.What is America if we abandon our respect for the Constitution?
