PHANTOM: They have some of it right. But I am positive P. was wearing his purple suit when he was suffering from the snake bite. Where is that purple suit, anyway? And when will Kit have a chance to work out to keep those superhero muscles that show off so well when he wears his purple superhero suit?!MARK TRAIL: A black bear! But what’s under that haystack? Does anyone recall Mark’s assignment – I think it was something about contamination of the swamp.
Mark Trail – Yes, Florchi, it was about a proposed industry that might contaminate the swamp.Phantom – Doesn’t he know that it was a phone call from the Unknown Commander that led them to the capture of the gang? P took off the purple shirt when he was suffering with fever from the snake bite. It should be in the dirt near the rings. he may still be wearing the tights as underwear, which I think should make HIM, P, wonder.Rex Morgan – May be the wrap-up of this part of the plot, ending the nursing school conflict with a message about health care professionals ignoring their own health care.
PHANTOM: did he strip off his purple outfit when he was burning with fever from the snake bite?MARK TRAIL: the brief repose is over and now 2 curiosities, the black bear and the haystack.TARZAN: after the 2-decade quantum leap, I’ve enjoyed the very knowledgeable comments and see some of you are also reading Tarzan. I’ve NEVER seen a strip use this type of descriptive narration.JUDGE PARKER: this strip is like a daytime soap with the different storylines and multiple characters and though i ready it everyday, it can get confusing. MARY WORTH: I think this story is far from over since we still have Hanna’s interaction with her daughter and grandson to play out
Desmond’s Leopard: I hope things work out with the zoo. With Rip’s deep pockets, a donation should help move things along. We’ve recently seen Desmond and Rip briefly living with an infant, I don’t think we need the absurdity of an animal living in a city apartment like the deer in Apt 3G.
@Teh, re: Tarzan – I’ve never seen this form of narration in this strip before either, and I found it difficult to read. Much better to have the quotations in speech bubbles, and usually it’s not necessary to describe actions that you can see.
Marvee, you asked yesterday (when I was unable to access GoComics at all) if anyone else reads Luann. I do, and I see where Hannah might end up in the same type of scenario as Gunther’s mom.

REX MORGAN: Perhaps the stress of the conflict with Dean Golden over the curriculum brought on Edna’s heart attack.
MARY WORTH: Repition.

PHANTOM: Dragging it out.

MARK TRAIL: Does that black bear follow Mark everywhere?
MARY WORTH: At least she knows how to hold a smart phone. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
