I am a life long Mainer, up here in the far north east corner of the country we do use the term masshole regularly, although, it seldom refers to the hole in a donut, and is always related to driving ability or, more accurately, the lack of it.

We’re more whimsical in my neck of the woods. It used to be called The Valley of Hearts’ Delight. Now, with all of the ‘Silicon Valley’ boosterism, it’s called the Valley of Harsh Delights.
