Fun Death Fact: Plano, Illinois has a big sign at the city limits proclaiming the town “Birthplace of the Reaper!” And the high school sports teams are called (you guessed it) the Reapers. Great name, but alas, it’s a reference to Mr. McCormick and his farm-field harvesting machine (sigh). On the other hand, Mr. McCormick’s machines have sent their share of farmers on to a Better Place…
